We’re thrilled to introduce a new way to customize your Thistle subscription! Our new plan, Thistle Flex, is designed so that you can get your favorite Thistle items in any amount, when you want them. Whether this means ordering Thistle add-ons without having to also order meals or choosing vegan and meat options for your family under the same subscription, Thistle Flex is here to make things easier for you.

Keep reading to see our new plan in action!

Step 1: Head to your Meal Plan Page

Head to your online Thistle account and go to your Meal Plan page (located in the drop-down menu below your name in the top right corner).

Now, click on the edit icon next to "Plan".

Option 1: Easy One-Click Plans using 'Quick Picks'

The first category you will see is our “Quick picks” options—if you're a regular, I-just-need-my-lunch salads type of person without the need for extra add-ons, then this section was made for you. Here, we've compiled our most popular subscription types and built them into simple, one-click plans.

Option 2: Personalize Your Subscription using our 'Custom' Option

Already know exactly what you like and when you want it? Our "Custom" option gives you all the flexibility to choose which Thistle products you want, how many you want, and when you want them.


If you click on the “Custom” category, you will see that our 3 delivery cycles are now split into: Early Week (Monday & Tuesday meals), Mid Week (Wednesday & Thursday meals), and End of Week (Friday & Saturday meals). Here, you can select “Add Delivery” to add a delivery cycle that’s not yet in your plan, and select “Edit” to view and customize your choices within each cycle.

This is where you can add, remove, and add again your favorite Thistle items to your heart's content. Maybe you only like lunches on Mondays and Tuesdays, juices on Wednesdays and Thursdays and dinners on Fridays and Saturdays—have no fear, you can now set that as your default subscription plan!

If you need some more inspiration on how to customize your subscription, here are some ideas:

Customize your plan for each individual delivery cycle of the week. Instead of having to stick with one prescribed plan for each delivery day (see above scenario), let your imagination run wild. Regularly go camping on the weekends? Stock up on those snacks before the weekend hits. Want to do meatless Mondays, some-meat Tuesdays, and vegetarian-rest-of-the-week? Not a problem. You can now get a mixture of meat & vegan meals without having to sign up for multiple subscriptions.

Up your add-on game. We get it, our sides are delicious (we're looking at you, Kale & Quinoa Caesar Salad) and if you just want to order just our add-ons, we don't blame you. With the new Thistle Flex plan, you can easily add just our cold-pressed juices and sides (jar salads, soups, snacks & more!) without having to add breakfasts, lunches or dinners to your plan.

Step 2: Preview Your Weekly Plan

Think you're all set? Double check to make sure everything is as it should and you have everything you want on the weekly preview page.

Step 3: Select Your Favorite Meals in 'Upcoming Deliveries'

Once you finish customizing your plan, head to your “Upcoming Deliveries” page to see the upcoming menu items and check if any of your favorite meals are coming up—in other words, If you opted for 4 vegan dinners during the early week delivery cycle, make sure you're getting the exact dinners that you want!
