Cook Time:
10 minutes
Total Time:
2 hours, 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups cashews
1/4 cup roasted red bell in a jar
1 tbsp mustard whole grain
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
3 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp water
2 1/2 tsp Crystal hot sauce
3/4 tsp liquid smoke

Instructions

To soften raw cashews, soak for at least 2 hours or up to overnight covered in water. Alternatively, if you do not have time to wait, bring a small pot of water to a boil and add the cashews. Boil for 10 minutes, then strain and transfer to a sheet tray to cool.

Once cashews have softened (and cooled if necessary), combine all ingredients in a food process or blender and process until smooth, scraping down the sides with a spatula as needed. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy with your favorite crackers, veggies or chips!

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
