Shiri Avnery

Shiri Avnery is President and Co-Founder of Thistle. Inspired by an adventurous spelunking trip in 8th grade, Shiri pursued her passion for the environment throughout her academic career. She earned a B.Sc. from Brown University and a Ph.D. from Princeton University, where her research focused on the intersection of global agriculture and our environment. Recognizing the urgent need to transform our food system, she co-founded Thistle to make it deliciously easy to follow a healthy, plant-forward diet to improve personal and planetary health.
